Pansies and water fountains

I’m sitting on a deck right now. In lovely (very wet ) southern Manitoba. The trickle of water coming from my Mom’s fountain is so calming. The smell of lilacs in bloom is intoxicating. And I’m following the goings on in the House of Commons (Canada Post filibuster) via Twitter.

Ooh there is a huge bumblebee. I wasn’t quick enough to catch a photo.

It’s my first full day on the farm and I am having a wonderful time. Went into town today to get some.groceries (grilled wild salmon tonight for supper!) and run some errands.

And I think I hear Dad. It’s time to go golfing.
